One of the leading satellite communication operators, Iridium, has introduced new equipment of its own production called Iridium GO. Initially designed for outdoor use, it has a rubberized body, is protected from splashes, dust, drops and is equipped with an emergency call system.

When turned on, the device creates a Wi-Fi zone, connecting to which from any smartphone, the user can use calls and SMS of the Iridium satellite network. Services are used through the Iridium GO app (versions available for iOS and Android). Calls and device operation work flawlessly thanks to optimized mobile applications. Up to 5 users can connect and use the device simultaneously. You can connect to the device from any device with a Wi-Fi module.

With Iridium Go you can easily check email, make calls, SMS and use mobile applications that are optimized to work with the terminal. For the first time, Iridium offers such an interesting and perfect product. Of course, the device has its limitations. GO is not suitable for working with "heavy" files, internet connection speed is 2.6 kb/sec.
