Thuraya satellite communication is the first regional operator of affordable satellite communication. Thuraya is the first operator with affordable rates and quality, yet affordable equipment.
The system operates using three geostationary satellites and provides communication services in Europe, Central Asia, Australia, and Africa. The first satellite Thuraya-1 was launched in 2000, three years later Thuraya-2 was launched, and in 2008 the last satellite to date, Thuraya-3, entered orbit.

In the absence of a balance, the Thuraya SIM card will enter a grace period of 90 days. During this period, you will be able to receive incoming calls and SMS, but outgoing calls will not work. If the SIM card is not topped up during the grace period, it will be deactivated.
