Home is closer than you think
Global satellite coverage provides reliable communication where mobile phones lose it. In an emergency, you can send an emergency interactive message to our coordination center.
The compact satellite communicator will become a reliable means of maintaining contact with home and bring more peace of mind during adventures without overloading your backpack.
Stay in touch with important people even in places without cellular network and Internet. The TracBack® reverse routing feature will help you easily find your way back to the starting point if you get lost.
Where Garmin inReach® Mini 2 is used
You are always connected with InReach technology
When you press the SOS button (protected from accidental contact by a safety cover), a distress signal is sent to the GEOS coordination center. This is a private company providing services worldwide. An operator will immediately contact you and start communicating via text messages.
Two-way messaging
Thanks to two-way messaging, you can exchange text messages with loved ones who stayed home, post messages on social networks or communicate with owners of other InReach devices even in field conditions.
Location sharing
Location sharing is a useful feature that allows you to share your current location with loved ones at any time using the MapShare™ page or coordinates coming in your messages.
Interactive SOS signals
Interactive SOS signals allow you to activate an emergency message in the most extreme situations for the 24/7 Garmin IERCC emergency response coordination center.
Flexible satellite airtime plans
To access the Iridium network and communicate using inReach Mini 2, an active satellite subscription is required. You can choose an annual package or a flexible monthly plan. Iridium offers flexible tariff plans that meet your communication needs, allowing you to enjoy satellite communication in a convenient and efficient way.
Durable compact design
The device can work as a GPS receiver. You should load maps and Garmin navigation apps on your smartphone and connect to the tracker. Topographic maps of the area, aerial photography data and other data downloadable via the NOAA service are available.
