The Cobham Sailor 4300 marine terminal is the latest equipment for providing satellite communication and internet for marine vessels. The terminal operates on the updated Iridium NEXT system, which allows for excellent internet speeds (up to 700 kbps) that were previously only available on VSAT terminals. 100% global coverage of Iridium and lower tariffs compared to competitors make this an excellent choice for installation on any type of marine vessel.

The terminal has quite compact dimensions (antenna weight 7kg, diameter 38cm), does not require any special skills during installation and setup and is maximally user-friendly right out of the box (terminal and antenna are connected by only one cable), the below-deck unit can be simply attached to the surface or mounted in a 19" server rack. An important element of reliability is the absence of moving parts and gyro platforms in the antenna and terminal — this allows us to state that there is no need for any service maintenance for at least 10 years. The Sailor 4300 is the pinnacle of performance and reliability of L-band satellite equipment.

In addition to internet access, the terminal allows the use of up to three high-quality voice lines for communication at any point on the planet, in any conditions. Available speeds and reduced traffic costs (from >1$/mb) allow this solution to be used for both classic maritime requests: email and weather, as well as for more traffic-intensive needs: messaging communication, video calls, VPN, IoT and naturally just web surfing including multi-user. At the same time, the simple and flexible control panel allows you to easily limit traffic and monitor its consumption.
