Model Description
The new product of the year from Thuraya is the SatSleeve Hotspot / Satsleeve+ satellite terminal. The terminal is based on the quite popular smartphone adapter SatSleeve. The main difference is that now the user is not tied to a specific smartphone that the terminal can work with. Also, now SatSleeve creates a Wi-Fi access point (in the previous version, connection to the device was via Bluetooth), which allows you to use the device within the range of the Wi-Fi network (up to 30 meters).
By connecting to Satsleeve from any device, you can fully use Thuraya satellite communication: calls, SMS and internet.
Thanks to its compactness and lightness, SatSleeve Hotspot is ideal for any purpose: tourism, professional activities, emergency communication, etc. The terminal is very easy to use – simply place it in an open space, point the antenna to the sky and you can use the device's capabilities. Connection via Wi-Fi allows you to use the terminal remotely (at a distance of up to 30 meters), which allows the user to make calls, send messages and work with mail while being inside a room or shelter.
Being far from civilization, with Thuraya SatSleeve, you can be sure that you will always stay connected.

Simple Setup
Thuraya Satsleeve HotSpot
- Install the SIM card in Satsleeve and turn it on.
- Fully extend the antenna and place the device in a location with direct line of sight to the sky.
- Download the Thuraya Satsleeve Hotspot application from AppStore or GooglePlay to your smartphone.
- On your smartphone, find and connect to the Wi-Fi network named like SATxxxxxxx. Default password is 12345678.
- On your smartphone, launch the downloaded application, through which you can use satellite communication.
