Model Description

The Sailor 600 is one of the most compact terminals operating in the VSAT system. The unique composite-aluminum construction and 3-axis stabilized antenna simplify the deployment process and increase the period of trouble-free operation. The device can operate stably in the harshest conditions of the open sea thanks to the fastest tracking antenna in its class. With excellent dynamic characteristics on all three axes, the terminal ensures uninterrupted operation and broadband connectivity in any conditions.

The VSAT Sailor 600 is a full-fledged professional tool with all the qualities of a marine stabilized antenna system, and its relatively low weight and compactness allow installation on virtually any type of vessel.

Cobham has greatly simplified the complex process of VSAT antenna installation. Ease of installation and startup is achieved through the implementation of unique design features such as: a single cable between the antenna and equipment located in sub-deck spaces;
Combined with automatic azimuth calibration and automatic cable calibration devices, they provide a unique "one touch" commissioning procedure;
Dynamic motor brakes inside the antenna eliminate the need for mechanical brake bands and keep the antenna in equilibrium in any power outage situation, at sea and during transport.

Like all VSAT systems, the Sailor 600 is easy to operate and does not require any specialized knowledge. Remote access allows you to obtain statistics or fix a malfunction from anywhere on earth. Automatic diagnostic collection functions, SNMP network protocol and built-in email client automatically transmitting operation statistics help minimize system downtime.
