Model Description

Sailor 60 GX is a reliable three-axis system developed specifically for use at sea. Operating in the Ka band, it provides access to broadband internet connection in the Inmarsat Global Xpress system.

Thanks to thousands of hours of research, development and testing in close cooperation between Cobham and Inmarsat, you can be confident in communication even in the harshest maritime conditions — Sailor 60 GX will provide the ability to communicate and work effectively without interruption.

The system is easy to install, configure and operate even by non-specialists. The system easily integrates with Inmarsat FleetBroadBand, which is used as a backup channel for critical cases. This combination provides even redundant safety of having communication, which is extremely necessary in the modern maritime sector.

Sailor 60GX supports advanced remote monitoring and equipment diagnostics capabilities using a simple and intuitive administrative interface. Password protection with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) ensures a high level of data security, and extended capabilities for online troubleshooting and network diagnostics with integration of the SAILOR FleetBroadband system expand possibilities. SAILOR 60 GX is designed to meet requirements even for the most complex shock and vibration characteristics, including IEC EN 60945.
