The Thrane&Thrane Explorer 300 satellite communication terminal (BGAN - Broadband Global Area Network) is a compact and rugged broadband communication terminal from Inmarsat. Supports SMS, fax, voice communication and data transmission. BGAN 300 provides stable and high-quality network connection and can function in the most adverse conditions, while the Inmarsat network has global coverage, which is why it is in high demand for military purposes and by rescue services worldwide. The terminal weighs 1.4 kg and is comparable in size to a small netbook. No external power source is required for operation, the terminal is equipped with a battery that can operate for up to 3.5 hours in use mode or up to 36 hours in standby mode. Data reception/transmission speed is 384 Kbps / 240 Kbps. Supports RJ-11 (wired phone), Bluetooth, and Ethernet (RJ-45) interfaces.
