The Explorer 710 BGAN satellite terminal from Cobham offers a qualitatively new level of satellite transceivers, supporting streaming data transmission speed at 650 kbps with a full-channel option for higher quality video transmission. The terminal operates on the BGAN-4 satellite network and works on the new BGAN HDR (Higher Data Rates) service platform in the Inmarsat BGAN satellite network.

Explorer 710 is an absolutely new design with technical innovations enclosed in a compact and durable body. Extended functionality allows you to link channels of several terminals via Ethernet, which allows you to increase speed up to 1 Mbps, which was previously only available on large and expensive VSAT satellite antennas. The terminal dimensions are quite compact for its capabilities: 332 x 279 x 54 mm, with an antenna weight of only 1.7 kg + transceiver weight of 1.5 kg.
