Fixed Satellite Communication for Home/Office and Sea — Globalstar GSP-2900

There are many solutions for fixed satellite communication. However, most of them have one significant drawback — high equipment cost and tariffs designed for high traffic consumption.

What if you need satellite communication as a backup channel that will be used only occasionally? There is a solution — the Globalstar GSP-2900. It is an excellent price/quality option combined with standard contract Globalstar tariffs.

The GSP-2900 is made of high-quality materials resistant to corrosion and external influences. Installation and setup are simple and do not require special knowledge. The antenna is installed as high as possible with clear sky view. The control unit can be mounted in any convenient place (preferably indoors).

Up to 5 regular landline phones can be connected to the control unit via standard RJ11 cable. It also supports internet connection via RJ45 Ethernet port (email, VPN, etc.). Standard cables allow long runs — up to 250 meters for telephone cable and up to 130 meters for Ethernet.

The Globalstar GSP-2900 provides a very stable signal with minimal interference and is an excellent solution for small vessels as well as private homes and offices. The marine and office versions differ only in the type of antenna.
